Caleb: I’m ready to leave California. We’ve seen it all.
Isla: I feel sad leaving California because I had a really good time. But I’m excited to see Arizona.
Joel: Excited for lower fuel costs and see a new part of the country.
Tracy: I wish we had more time on a sunny beach (the beach was never sunny just very windy) and more time with the sequoia trees but we’ve been away from home for a long time now. Being with the big trees makes me miss Dad as I find his words coming out of my mouth all the time “kids slow down and just look at this tree”. On Moro rock I felt such a closeness to Mom clutching onto Isla… although Mom clutches onto the back of my arm and I clutch onto Isla’s wrist. It’s an interesting thing wanting to show your kids the world but trying desperately to keep them safe at the same time.
