Wednesday September 27: Pismo Beach bound

Joel worked today so I took the kids fishing and exploring around Bonelli Bluffs. The kids and I also went to Costco to stock up on food. Somethings are exactly the same price as back home – like the Croissants are technically more expensive here because they are the exact same money USD as CAD. Other things like clothes are much cheaper here.

The drive to Pismo beach was about 4 hours of ocean on one side and ranches/desert then orchards on the other.

We are camping at Pismo Beach State Park – North Campground. It’s sites are much bigger and spread out than the other campgrounds along the beach… and a quarter of the price albeit with no power or water hook ups.

You can hear the ocean roaring from our campsite but it’s just a little walk over a bluff to see the ocean.
