We started the day with Avila Beach Whale Watching. Quote from the tour “9-28-23 Today we found 2 huge Humpback whales slowly heading North. We enjoyed some great views of them as they swam up the large swells. Then we had quite a fun ride surfing down the waves on our return.”
My favourite quote of the day was Caleb asking Captain Mark if the Pacific Ocean always had such big waves and he just laughed at Caleb and said this was nothing. He was a great guide and had lots to share about the animals and things we were seeing. I’m happy I booked the morning tour as he had to change the later tour to a sight seeing tour along the coast because the sea was too rough to go out.
