Tuesday morning we when to island of the sky . We saw a big and beautiful arch .On the other side of the arch it was a big drop off. The arch is called Mesa arch.
We also went to whale rock the whale rock is a big gray rock that looks like a whale
There was thunderstorms in the distance at Grandview point so we hiked along the canyon rim about half way to the look out. We stopped to watch the lightning and count the thunder. We are our peanut butter and jam croissants. The storm was far away but getting closer so we turned around. When we got back to the trail head there was a super loud and long crack of thunder.
